
Current and former members of Scazlab attended and contributed to the 19th Annual ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human Robot Interaction (HRI) in Boulder, Colorado, USA on March 11-16, 2024. Kate Candon, a fourth year PhD student presented her published paper, titled “REACT: Two Datasets for Analyzing Both Human Reactions and Evaluative Feedback to Robots Over Time” [PDF]. Rebecca Ramnauth, a fifth year PhD student, attended the Jibo Community Social Robot Research Platform @Scale Workshop.
Additionally, Professor Scassellati delivered a keynote at The International Symposium on Technological Advances in Human-Robot Interaction (TAHRI), a symposium for HRI research focused on the advancement of the underlying technology enabling the interaction between a robot and a human. The inaugural event was held on March 9–10, 2024 in Boulder, Colorado, USA, two days before and co-located with the 2024 HRI conference.
