Third year PhD candidates Alex Litiou and Aditi Ramachandran were selected to participate in the The tenth annual Human-Robot Interaction Pioneers Workshop to be held in Portland, Oregon on Monday, March 2, 2015 in conjunction with the 2015 ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction. HRI Pioneers is a highly selective workshop and premier venue designed to empower innovators early in their careers and is a cohort of the world’s top student researchers seeking to foster creativity, communication, and collaboration across the incredibly diverse field of human-robot interaction.
Their papers “Robotic Coaching of Complex Physical Skills” (Litiou) and “Fostering Learning Gains Through Personalized Robot-Child Tutoring Interactions” (Ramachandran) were selected through an independent competitive application process.
