We are pleased to announce that over the next several months, Álvaro Castro-González will be working with the Lab as a Postdoctoral Fellow. Originally from León, Spain, Álvaro earned his Ph.D. degrees in robotics and automation from the Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain, in 2008 and 2012, respectively.
He is a Member of the Robotics Lab Research Group and Assistant Professor at the Department of Systems Engineering and Automation of the Carlos III University of Madrid, Madrid, Spain. His current research focuses on personal and social robots, human–robot interaction, decision making systems, autonomy, artificial emotions, and motivations on robots.
